Class Racing has big day @ Sunland Park with back to back wins!

Saturday February 16th at Sunland Park, Class Racing and trainer Bart Hone won 2 consecutive races and lost the Pick 3 by 1/2 length.  Starting in the 7th race, Fine and Rare went off as the 7-2 second choice and ran down the field in the lane for his 4th career win with Alfredo Juarez, Jr.  in the irons.  Whining continued the winning streak with a nice 2 length win as the 2-1 second choice for jockey Isaias Enriquez and then in the 9th race, Atomic Echo, going off as the 7-2 favorite due to the CRS/Hone win streak  took the lead at the top of the stretch and could not hold off the winner, losing by 1/2 length.  Unfortunately, a controversial stewards decision at the start of the race dropped Echo to 10th.

Congratulations to Bart Hone and all partners and this effort has padded CRS win percentage to 27% while  our horses have been in the money 53%.  We will continue to find the right horses at the right prices for our Stable so be sure to join us at the Barrett’s March sale in Pomona, CA.
